As an Independent Travel Agent, your main job will be to plan and book vacations for clients around the world, both leisure and corporate!

This is a great position for those who love to travel and have great planning, organization, and researching skills.

Research, present, book and create amazing travel itineraries for clients.

Meet with clients via phone or zoom to discuss their travel requests and gather details to create the perfect itinerary to match their needs.

Review budget details with clients and present offerings to suit their requests.

Book travel itineraries (airline, car rental, hotel accommodations, hotel, all-inclusive, activities and excursions, cruises, ticket/event sales)

Effectively communicate with clients both pre and post-travel, answering all questions in a timely manner.

Keep informed of changes within the tourism industry.

Complete continuous online training to maintain your certification to book travel.

Attend online training with vendors and suppliers, to become specialized with specific destinations and current promotions.

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to communicate with clients and assess their needs

Must have a smartphone, laptop or desktop computer with internet access.

Must be a United States resident

1099 position (commission-based)

Work PT or FT from HOME

No formal travel agent experience is necessary.
